I don’t like Sessions or Trump but it would be glorious to see Sessions possibly enact his revenge. I’m pretty sure the berating Sessions received in May gave him a strong wake up call to exactly who he supported.

Obviously supporting Trump has played out well, Sessions was put up to the position of Attorney General. But doesn’t change the fact he was extremely embarrassed by trump calling him an idiot, among other things.

So in the meantime Sessions has been playing his nationalistic playbook. As the Mueller investigation surrounds trump and closes in, there will be a time where Trump will reach out to the Top Law Enforcement official of the country.

And much like McCain exacted his revenge on trump by voting “no” on Healthcare, the AG Sessions will probably tell trump to fuck a duck.

And this is assuming Sessions isn’t himself personally involved in the investigation. If that’s the case, Sessions will sing like a canary against trump, get praise from his colleagues in Congress and walk away unscathed.
