In policy sure, in practice no. Just because its what the university uses doesn't mean its what most students use, or that its correct or accurate.

When is the last time you heard someone say they live on South? You hear people say North and West but never south. Similarly, one can live off campus but still live on north campus. Ill concede that West usually refers to on campus though

On the university website, it actually designates the EEC House in addition to casc and schulyer as South. Would you agree that these are buildings are all located in the same vicinity? Would someone saying they live on South campus give you any actual idea of where they actually live?
