Just fought Eredin...

You just lost Ciri to Emhyr's schemes. After all, witchers are banned from entering nilfgaardian cities, especially the capital. All the worse, she has no confidant inside that lion's den.

It really makes me wonder why many people think Ciri can make a difference when she's not nilfgaardian, a bastard child from nilfgaard perspective, has no sphere of influence and will be the subject of conspiracies of the nobilities. She has no Francis Walsingham inside Nilfgaard.

There's a fair good amount of reason that the letter contained threats against Geralt and Yennefer. The books and games has shown time and time again that Ciri walks into deaths doorsteps when the opportunity presents it. When Yennefer was kidnapped, Ciri personally went to Vilgefortz. (1)Ciri thought she could do something and the fear that gripped her when she realized the error in her judgment. (2)She knew the Rats would be killed and they were supposed to separate ways but instead, went to Bonhart and oh boy, she watched each of the rats killed and decapitated. (3)When Geralt and Yennefer were in the isle of Avallon, Ciri appeared again and thankfully saved them but the Wild Hunt had marked her, Geralt and Yennefer. Fortunately, Avallach saved the day and helped Ciri thereafter. (4)During the scene with the Basilisk, it was supposed to be incognito but she likes trouble and trouble came to her in the form of a broken cage. (5)Escaped Thanedd only to be pursued by the wild hunt in wraith form. (6)Went to the tower following Geralt's story about a cat and fox, this, according to Geralt, made the situation far worse than its supposed to be.
