So I just spent half an hour chasing wasps around my room

There's not a lot insects I'm afraid or hate. I actually like most spiders as long as they observe the rules. The rules are don't come at me, stay in the corners, eat any insects, and don't show up in the shower.

For insects I HATE earwigs! I despise them and they creep me out. Praying mantises are ok if they are small. But that 6" one that got in my house a couple of years freaked me out! He looked at me when he heard me grab my phone. They are cool and creepy. Most bugs are ok, we just shoo them out. Bees are cool. But wasps? Hell no! They chase me. I scared of them. I would have freaked out if 5 of them were in my room and there's no way i would be able to catch them with a cup or jar. We do catch the occasional bug or spider who doesn't mind the rules under cups. Put a card under the jar and carry it outside.

I wasn't scared of scorpions until I was stung by one 3 years ago. That hurts. And it bruised over half of the top of my foot. And it took like a week for the venom to get out of my system.

We had a black widow make a web inside the house a couple of months ago. We didn't care and would have left it but I have health issues and we have a cat and black widows make their webs near the floor so we had to get rid of her.
