Kavanaugh Accuser: 'I'm Disgusted and Appalled At The Way I Have Been Re-Victimized'

You're not simplifying things. You're putting them in your own words and then skirting around the obvious problem.

I was wrong, a senate hearing is an investigation, but it's limited to the room it takes place in once it starts. That's like police having to go straight to trial after taking one look at the crime scene.

The FBI never said it wasn't worth pursuing. They simply ended their investigation because they were forced to.

Simply talk yourself through this situation: The FBI is allowed to investigate Kavanaugh but not interview him. They get a week. Surely he would be the first person interviewed.

I'll stop when Senate hearings show that they have teeth. The two examples you named resulted in nothing. So your whole point about how serious they are is moot.

I'll stop when there is any good explanation why republicans blocked specific people from being interviewed in a controlled scenario. Like I said, the time limit makes sense, blocking testimony does not.
