In this time of social isolation and heightened hysteria, it's really necessary for survival that you are kind to yourself. Please forgive yourself for the anxiety that you feel.

People have a thing called normalcy bias: that they believe, and their minds insist, that life is going to go on as normal, even if it factually, is not. Your husband and other people you have described around, while insensitive, do not have the instincts that you do right now. Please feel empowered in your clarity...as conditions change, you will certainly be validated. This coronavirus things not going away!

The best way to overcome anxiety is to allow yourself to feel and go through it, not around. It's uncomfortable, but it's the only option. Good things, safety and peace, await you on the other side.
