Eventhough what this picture is saying is actually true, referring to the actual trend, it should never be accepted as truth.

Pictures like these can be misleading. They display MOMENTS in time. Not a TREND over a longer period of time. And the trend is important.

A picture like this shouldn't be accepted as some sort of "news". The only thing the picture says is "In 1983 at that time, it was fuller, than shown on a picture here in 2021." But without a trend, it might have also been full in 1990, or 2020, or 2015, or empty.

Pictures like these are often used to spread lies amongst a public. If you want to share proper information, get a point across, include the data.
