Large explosion at Abbey gate at the Kabul airport

Yeah....

We should never tried to spend money to train troops that don't want to be trained. I have friends in the military that say they would just giggle any time you gave them a order and repeatedly mocked the rigid training of the US by mocking drills.

They never wanted our help, we should of completed the mission and came home.

We should of had a US Military secured exit zone with multiple checkpoints, but part of the deal was allowing the Afghans to do this work. That US Military backed plan was part of the recapture of Bagram to allow multiple sites of evac but that would of been longer of a pullout with adding troops back take the base and act as a security force.

There were better ways but the optics of "another battle" was too great.
