This case is similar to Chad Evans case.

Evans was found guilty of raping a 19-year old in 2012, but he always maintained his innocence and said the sex was consensual.

He got a re trail and was finally found innocent in 2016, after he had spent 2 and half years in prison.

He is currently back to his club but still get abuses from other club's supporters, and it's very clear that his football career is already over. He is 29 currently.

Not saying that Ronaldo is innocent, not saying he's done it.

But just that, people are two quick to jump to conclusions, when there are many things still left to be explored in this case.
