I've refused to make a website someone wanted, because I thought their ideas were bad and I didn't want my name attached to something I thought sucked. The person requesting it happened to be gay, as a matter for fact, but his sexual preference had nothing to do with it. I just thought his style was dated, so I went with my own direction on it. If I view myself as an artist, I don't want to make bad art. If he wanted to make an ugly site, he can find someone with a different opinion, or lower standards. We also could have came to some kind of compromise, but were too far apart to come to an agreement.
