Let's talk about ambiverts.

In order to healthily function in society, I do believe that you have to be ambiverted to an extent. But ultimately, being a designated "ambivert" seems like a load of bs to me. At least from what I've noticed, people tend to gravitate towards one or the other when under stress or otherwise not typical societal conditions. If you're upset, do you prefer to get over it by spending time to yourself or by surrounding yourself with others (in a healthy fashion. I'm not talking about nonstop partying so you dont have to focus on the issue or about completely isolating yourself). It would be interesting to see if this doesnt apply to someone.

So tldr; its definitely a spectrum, but everyone has a preference that, imo, is more evident in periods where someone needs to recharge
