I'm generally okay with people having the freedom to practice whatever hobbies they want no matter how ridiculous, but you realize the intended purpose of your 'recreational property' is to do murders, right? Like, whatever fancy gun it is you're talking about was designed to be able to hurt humans. Calling it 'recreational property' is a massive euphemism. As I said above, I honestly don't give a fuck about guns, I think it's a pretty dumb issue because we have very few shootings in Canada, but also if my hobby was making fancy poisons I wouldn't be defensive about it and claim that my poisons are just 'recreational property'. I don't really understand why gun owners try to make it sound like we're talking about a toy that some evil people use to kill people, when we're talking about a tool designed for killing people that some people use as a toy.
