In light of all the shit PETA is getting, heres a list of their accomplishments in helping animals.

"killing humanely" is the most disgusting thing I have ever read. Go torture an animal humanely while claiming you support animal rights you hypocrite.

I'm sure the animals that die so you can eat will feel much better knowing that you were consistent in your values while you ate them, by calling the people who aren't eating animals hypocrites.

but you don't actually oppose killing them in order to eat them.

I literally said that I do oppose this. I advocate for animals dying of old age and THEN eating them.

Oh good. So that is how you get your meat then, yeah?

If this is true, it isn't because you have ulcerative colitis. Forms of ulcerative colitis that, for example, rule out the ingestion of beans, peas and legumes still allow for many other kinds of plant protein.

This isn't true at all...

I would be happy to be provided any amount of evidence demonstrating that it is not true.

Again, I do not want humans to kill animals. Simple as that.

The people at PETA will tell you the same thing. You refuse to believe them, despite all their other accomplishments on behalf of animals. Yet, for some reason, I'm supposed to believe you, being a stranger on the internet who has offered up no evidence of ever having done anything on their behalf and instead has furthered the cause of industries that slaughter billions of animals a year.

If the meat industry is willing to help me do that then cool, I'll take that help. doesn't mean I support them.

Great, the industry providing you with your entirely ethically consistent diet also happens to be helping you on your crusade against an organization seeking to end animal suffering. I'm sure they are doing it because they truly care about animals, just like you do. At least you know who your allies are.

This subreddit. Your whole argument boils down to "the meat industry kills so it's fine for PETA to kill"...

Not a single person anywhere on this subreddit has told you anything like this. You refuse to acknowledge any kind of nuance in reality, even as you are living in the middle of contradictions yourself.

I am looking into getting chickens and then eating those when they die naturally.

Great, you just keep looking into living in accordance with your own beliefs. Whatever you do, don't let it stop you from looking in the mirror during your crusade.
