Went to work for most of the day. I work in a big supermarket on the edge of town and almost all of the people I work with are Russian.

They talk Russian among themselves, some don't even know how to speak the local language properly, but since most of the customers are Russian or at least know Russian the managers don't care.

Quite often both customers and the people I work with try to speak to me in Russain because to them every slightly European looking person is a fucking Russian.

So even at work I feel isolated, even with 100 more people that work there, I barely know anyone after 5 months of work.

How can I join a conversation with people that can't understand me or just speak a different language?

I lost all of my patience for people about this, I'll either just ignore people if they try to speak to me, tell them to speak in my language or tell them in Russian that "Я не русский".

And almost all of my friends are Russian, but when you all speak the same language it's so much better.
