Why should migrants be assimilated? They should renounce to whom they are? Our culture is superior? Christianity is the only culture that is worth keeping around? Did the west destroyed patriarchy and I missed the memo?

Rape debate: there's a lot of things to consider with this. ... we live in a society were women are ,in most cases, seen as a decorative sex object. This is true, both here and in China.
The "mass rape", as they were called, were pretty common in NYE, and other festivities. At least here (Spain). Every damn year, we have to fucking put up posters for similar festivities because of sexual harassment. THIS IS NOTHING NEW, and making the debate about how the "browns come to rape our women", ain't the right way to have this debate. This is the opposite of how we should be having this debate.
Let's fucking remember who had a "global meeting" about how rape should be legal.
There will be a crash of cultures. Because, we Europeans/whites for some reason still think we are the best of the best, and we don't want to accept anything that isn't a white Christian. If European societies didn't eat the discourse of how awesome we are because we r EU, we might actually accept migrants without extremely xenophobic migration laws, that normalize violence against migrants.
Europe will have a crash of cultures, because we live in a globalized society, not because of refugees (whom are a tiny bit of the migration movement). The destruction of the Eurocentric mind set is inevitable. The change of how we see history will break the identity of many, if not all, European countries. "We civilized the world" we'll become "We destroyed the world".
This can be applied to any Western country, from USA, to Canada and Australia. The system is racist, and our culture is based on the idea that a white cis straight male is the best thing in the universe. This idea is being challenged, and no one in power likes that. We can accept changing the "male" part for a "female", only if they are pretty. (look at what happened with la CUP in Catalunya).
I'm rambling. I'm stupidly frustrated with the European (West) discurse on migration. Fucking hell, right now there's a huge movement to fight for the "right of freedom of speech" of some artist that made some ETA related joke, while we all ignore that the national police killed 15 (found bodies, unconfirmed at least 80) people blacks. We are willing to take the streets, even violently for the right of some shithead to make a joke about ETA, but we find it normal that the police would shot people who are drowning.
