LPT: If you're taking a picture of something you'll need to reference randomly in the future, take like 8 pictures. It will be easier to find that block of pics later in your gallery among the sea of random pics.

How about just putting it in its own folder in your photo gallery? That's what I do. You could mark it as a favorite as well, but putting the photos in one folder keeps my lists of equations and other reference materials (e.g., engineering stuff) that I've scanned in one place where I don't have to search for them amongst a sea of "Favorite" photos that are themselves not itemized other than being a "Favorite".

No sense in wasting storage space with extra photos, right?

As a friendly reminder, fellow Redditors, now would be a good time to cull your photo gallery of the 3,000 photos that you'll never, ever look at again so that you can find the fifty or so that you actually do show people. I mean, really, you're reading this right now, so you've got the time at the moment to be doing something that's at least ever so slightly more productive than reading comments on a LifePro Tip.
