Symmetra is just not in the powerful tier and this is coming from a Sym main in top 500.

From her inconsistent damage to her beam that now decays a whole tier before you can even create a tp and teleport behind the team - she’s just not powerful.

She is a glass cannon, which is fine except the only problem is every other dps is a regular cannon.

She completely folds to almost everyone on the roster in duels and barely counters anyone herself anymore.

She’s powerful - WHEN her healers are actually healing her and her tanks are peeling for her properly and giving her space to do her thing. The issue is that there is no reason to pick her as every other dps can do this without requiring their team to enable them.
