As much as I love Kobe (look at my username), I got Magic ranked higher for the simple fact that he not only elevated his teammates but he was also much easier to play with, Kobe was a better defender but Magic finished with slightly better accolades, cause he was simply a better team player

don’t get me wrong, Kobe was a monster with an offensive repertoire second to none, but sometimes he would get into this ‘give me the ball and shut the fuck up kind of attitude’ and would hero ball his way into either a loss or a win, it was dope when he would get us a dub, but it would suck when he would shoot his team out off a game

In other words, Magic did what was best for the team, and Kobe would sometimes do what was best for Kobe
