Do I have Magnesium deficiency

I have almost the exact same issues, OP, except for the tremors in my hand. Let me tell you that it’s easy to avoid overdosing in magnesium supplements. Every supplement bottle you get has the recommended serving and directions for how much to take each day and you can just follow that. I am supplementing 200-250mg a day-and I’m a very small person-and you can start with that. I’ve also heard people supplementing much more than that and they feel fine.

Magnesium Glycinate or Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom salt) are better absorbed than other forms of magnesium so make sure you get either one of those. 1/2 teaspoon of Epsom salt mixed with 1 cup of water (or more as long as you drink the whole thing) should give you ~250mg if magnesium (it will say in the label how much magnesium you get for a given amount of Epsom salt).

This definitely made me feel better, but it did not fully resolve my heart palpitations. I’ve been having them for the last 6 months now and I’m 100% positive mine are related to gastrointestinal issues (most likely low stomach acid). If the magnesium alone doesn’t resolve your palpitations, see if you notice any patterns for when these palpitations come on, how long they usually last, if eating certain foods help or make it worse. Record your heart rate on an app for when you’re having heart palpitations and when you’re feeling fine or better.

I’m still trying to resolve my palpitations so I wish the same for you.
