Man, HelloFresh sure is preying on introverts with this one...

Same bullshit happening over at BlueApron. To cancel, you dig into the profile settings where you think you’d find it then click a link... except the link gives you instructions on sending an email to cancel.

Once you send the email saying you want to cancel, they send you an email back telling you a link has now appeared in your profile to cancel.

So you go back to a different section of your profile and look around there until you click it and finally confirm “Are you sure?” It’s designed to be a “funnel” to keep more people subscribed and inflate their numbers.

Sign of a failing company: taking asshole user experience measures just to keep subscriber numbers up .5% because you can’t compensate in other areas.
