Why do so many women post to /r/gonewild?

I typed out a long ass reply to a comment OP (/u/askronuat2) deleted. I think it has merit, so I'll just reply to you instead. Maybe some other people will read it and gain insight.

lol, what makes you say that?

Not trying to start an argument or anything; just saw that it has been two-ish hours and there hasn't been an answer to your question.

Basically, based on your replies (what you have responded positively and negatively to), you weren't really looking for an answer. You were basically just fishing for validation of your already existing opinion: that girls who post on /r/gonewild are just attention whores and that there has to be some deep seated issues with their emotional state in order for them to even consider wanting attention.

You come off as extremely biased and narrow-minded, which is probably why /u/MrsHeisenberg considers you an asshole. Anyone who answered 'daddy issues' or 'attention whore' got your instant seal of approval without any extensive discussion whatsoever. Anyone who answered, otherwise, got a very directionless and condescending argument/reply from yourself.

It is kind of sad, to be honest. It is easy to point and label everyone that defends the subject of your question a 'white knight' or whatever, because that way, you don't have to challenge your beliefs about the situation. There is no attempt at understanding or empathy. Male redditors LOVE to perpetuate how 'friendzoned', 'horny', and 'forever alone' they are, yet, when a willing girl posts nudes of herself, even though you didn't have the gall to ask for it yourself, you whine and bitch that they didn't do it for the reasons you find valid. "She MUST have some mental issue; why would a girl do this for me?"
