WoW Shadowlands: And with my now officially dealing with the finale and epilogue of the Zereth Mortis Quests and judgement of Sylvanas windrunner HOLY SHIT BLIZZARD ACTUALLY FUCKING DID IT.

okay so for those who dont know what happens or don't care

you are brought forth before the arbiter to sit and watch the judgement of Sylvanas and now look I love me some warcraft but Blizzard has a habit of...not really committing to the punches

but here nope, Tyrande whisperwind is chosen by Sylvanas to exact her punishment

and my favorite part Sylvanas's punishment is literally a core thing of the message of shadowlands. Nobody deserves the maw.

nobody deserves eternal damnation. and so what is Sylvanas's punishment? She is to find EVERY SINGLE SOUL IN THE MAW...of which for years every single soul in the cosmos was condemned to go to.

and send them "Betrayed or condemned" implying not just those unjustly sent but even those "justly sent" are to be dragged before the arbiter one by one amd given proper judgement and sent to their proper afterlife.

Until only Sylvanas Remains alone...the only person who has truly earned the maw...she is not allowed to leave the maw and this quite literally is a task that can and will take a very long to do. She is not to leave she cannot leave and she is watched.

this is also something Pelegos the new arbiter stands by.

Holy fucking shit blizzard fucking stood by it and literally gave Sylvanas a punishment thats fucking good, is actually the only shot at redemption she has and is also pennace and atonement holy fucking shit if she is redeemed by this she will actually have earned it...god damn.
