I thought it was weird that Geno was on this list because it's always been for coming back from injuries, right? But thinking on it more, what did everyone think of Geno Smith going into this season? I know what I thought. He's a back-up quarterback, he has no business being a full-time starter and they're just playing him while they look for their next guy. Holy shit was I wrong. I'd say it's worth considering him for coming back from nearly a decade of mediocre play and having been given up on and then balling out when he got another shot. The story is pretty incredible which is the most important thing when determining comeback player of the year. I don't the story of the other two matches up as well.
