[Method] [Advice] Quitting Reddit for 30 days. Getting back to work. Will give Reddit Gold if you help me.

I use Web Blocker on my Android phone (I added reddit.com, www.reddit.com, m.reddit.com). It requires root

On my PC I use StayFocusd extension, just add *reddit.com and set Max Time Allowed to 0 minutes. You can also allow some subreddits if you want, but do it before you set allowed time to 0 because otherwise the extension will not let you do it. Also allow this extension in incognito mode. And make sure to add chrome://extensions to blocking set and hide extension icon so you will not be able to delete it.

It actually better to set allowed time to 1-3 minutes, so you will be able to delete other extensions when you need.

P.S. I used to block the whole reddit, but for me it was not that great. Sometimes useful information can be found only here and I was forced to delete/disable the extension. And after that I wanted to check the front page "for a minute" which often led to hours of surfing.

For me the best solution is to allow "bad" sites for 50 minutes a day. While I still have not spent this time I can add some

Now I have a big list of blocked sites and words, because I used to trick myself and used online proxy and anonimizers. Here is my settings file
