Michigan officials will fight federal court order to deliver bottled water in Flint

This is absolutely shameful. Yet it's happening in so many places. In 2015, 12 died from the water in the South Bronx. The area is also referred to as "Asthma Alley" which is predominantly due to the diesel fuel from garbage trucks because that's where all the waste transfer stations are. The city backed off on putting a transfer station on the Upper East Side to stop loading all of it into the Bronx and people in Manhattan complained and filed lawsuits. And oh yeah more people in the Bronx died of Legionnaires' in the last month so obviously the city should just continue to deny it's a problem. Kids can't study if they can't breathe. Kids can't learn if their water is poisoning them. It affects careers and psychological well being. You can't stay healthy if your air can literally be considered a carcinogen. Environmental racism pisses me off so god damn much. I'm trying to contact these gov departments and agencies and demand they do something and they just ignore it and collect $$ and give huge million dollar environmental restoration grants to areas with wealthier people. I hate how this happens everywhere and it seems to only possibly have hope of changing when it gets mainstream media coverage, and clearly, even then the people can still continue to get fucked. I hate the ones who allow this to happen. I don't know how they can live with themselves.
