I was misled about a kennel that I left my dog with over the weekend. The neglected and abused him

The place is called Dewitt Animal Hospital. It also has the city of Syracuse contract for strays and is a kill shelter (I didn't know when I left him, I neglected to do my research)

Here is my review online:

"It was a last minute decision to bring Stark to this kennel. Over the phone when I asked to come in two days early to get the heartworm test and to check the place out, the receptionist avoided me coming in and kept saying it was fine to just come in the morning I had to drop him off. Once I dropped him off and asked to see the kennels she said I couldn’t go back because they were being “cleaned.” At that point, in a rush, I left my healthy Starky there. From the moment I came to get him, he was not himself and I had never seen him act this way before. A 93 degree day, Stark was covered in drool and urine. His nose was rock hard as if he had not had water in days. He was severely dehydrated, had a fever, and his eyes looked droopy as if he had been drugged the whole time. Stark’s pee was golden yellow and he struggled to pee but he was clearly very relieved the moment we brought him outside. The dehydration is what really got me on that hot and humid day, dogs can die in that heat when neglected. I soon find a massive bacterial infected skin rash that was much worse than a hot spot. It covered his neck and chest, where I suspect the urine was when he laid. This place is filthy. The staff are rude and sketchy. All these red flags and I was oblivious in my panic to find a place for Starky to stay over the weekend. I can now see clearly how horrid the conditions are just for boarding an animal at this place. I then learned that this was also the city pound that many say will euthanize pets very quickly to make a high turnover for more pets to kill. It is sickening what is going on over there. After bringing him to my vet today, she was very concerned about the wellbeing of Stark. This was clearly abuse. We have stark on several medications now including antibiotics. Stark will recover, but this place is unacceptable. All of the fake reviews online are dangerous and misleading. Writing fake reviews to make themselves look better. Absolutely pathetic. Buying fake facebook likes should have made sense because the vet had his training from the Philippines, likely where the fake likes were purchased. Do not ever trust this vet or this establishment. They just want your money."
