I finally turned off nytimes notifications for this reason, it became a never ending daily stream of non-contexual, alarmist click bait for Covid related issues. Considering our local rates of vacination, the ready availability of boosters, and general demographics, looking at thing this myopically has the same value as counting cases for common cold or flu.

Most importantly this has nothing at all to do with MMSD's abupt decison to close schools to kids, when this is not being done or considered by any other district.
