I'm an SNP voter, yet I appear to have more respect for Scottish Conservative voters than JRM has.

First of all, JRM is "Leader of the House of Commons" - a largely symbolic role that has no responsibilities and which is essentially a vanity title. He's a chronic underachiever in the House of Commons and he has has zero notable political accomplishments.

When it comes to his criticism of the Scottish Tories, he's so dismissive that I'm almost at the point where I'm thinking "well, they might be Tories, but least they're our Tories!"

These are real people in Scotland who are voting for the Conservative Party. I'd be pretty furious if Nicola Sturgeon was as dismissive of these voters as JRM has been.

Acting as if leader of his own party in Scotland is a "lightweight" title. Why doesn't he just come up to Scotland and personally slap all Tory voters in the face? What an idiot.
