Ah yes, I suspect you might be right about that.

In all honesty I meant it above in a satirical-comedic way.

But perhaps it was a bit too much... late-night-comedic in nature, and maybe inappropriate in this context?

Funny enough, I was actually echoing the sentiment expressed by many an American friend/family, including even several females, who would often observe something to the effect of:

"Wow there's so many hot chicks here, from different cultures! This ain't Kansas anymore!"

And well... while I personally wouldn't exclaim that in those words, in a normal social situation... they're technically correct about their observations of my local neighborhood!
