The Moto X Play is missing some sensors, for example it has no gyroscope.

I paid (direct from Motorola UK) the equivalent of USD$750 for a 32GB X 2014 (and that was without the additional USD$30+ for a custom back). No stereo speakers. No removable battery. No SD card slot. Awful battery life. Poor camera. Sub standard screen. Distortion on the one speaker, even at 50% with simple stock notifications. Glitchy Motorola apps and little thought into integration. A vibration motor that sounds like a can being kicked. Questionable updates. Little to no availability of accessories, options, or even devices if you live outside of the US too.

To top it all off, Motorola are horrendous if you're not in the US. Their customer service is so poor, disinterested, and incompetent, that some of their employees are actually offensive. My expensive new (~£480) phone arrived faulty. They reneged on their promise to swap it for a new one, and then also subsequently failed to repair it in Germany (and sent it back with scratches). In the end I had to claim the entire purchase amount back through a Section 75 dispute via my credit card provider, as Motorola couldn't care less.

Yeah, so their flagships are a shower of shit too. It's a shame to say that after almost twenty years as a customer of theirs, but there's no way I'm prepared to put up with products and service like that. With their parent company, Lenovo, thinking so much of their customers that they find Superfish and injecting crapware at start up on their windows devices acceptable, well, it's fair to say that I won't touch Motorola, Lenovo, or even a Nexus device that's made by Motorola with a shitty stick from here on in. I'll stick with Sony, LG, HTC or some lesser known Asian brand for the foreseeable, hopefully in the form of a Nexus device that isn't ridiculous and made by a bunch of chucklefucks.
