Moving into a new house, Neighbor already starting problems. Advice GREATLY appreciated.

You're not going to have a relationship with him. He just lives close to you. No one else has gotten through to him, and you won't either. He didn't "pull anything" he just left a ladder on your property to bait you into a conversation where he could "pull something." You don't need to engage, unless he comes at you with a gun. Don't give him the confrontation. Just say, "You left your ladder on my property and I didn't know where it was from, so I put it in the garage. Here you go. I'm glad you told me because I would normally just throw it on the curb"

I've been going to my fiancé's house for three years and had a bunch of petty soccer moms complaining about me parking my car on a public street. They've called the fire department, put a picture of my car in the HOA newsletter, and generally glared at me and I think they're sad and petty. We're in grad school and working ft jobs. I don't the energy to give a shit about them and their entitlement issues. And now they just leave me alone because I won't play victim or bully. It takes the fun out of the games when you don't give a shit.
