My hotel made sure I wasn't date raped... I'm in awe.

That's great, I don't want to take anything from Novotel but are we seriously at the point in America where if you agree to have a few drinks with a stranger and he follows you out (we assume that he is just as drunk as you, if not more so) to attempt to further the conversation.

Look, sister: You're in a hotel bar drinking with a man and the discussion goes to where you both talk about how you're married, yeah…that's enough for the man to at least try to make something happen.

That's how the culture of sex works and has always worked. He didn't touch you, did he? He didn't continue to try to get into your room, you told him no and he left, which is exactly how this whole thing works.

If you're concerned about drunken men following you back to your room, maybe it's best if you don't go to the bar and drink with married men, yeah?

If we're at the point in culture where it's wrong for a guy to even try to move to the next base after drinking with a stranger of the opposite sex, then we're all completely ruined.

Don't make this out to be a, 'why would you wear a dress if you didn't want to be raped thing' because that's going to make your argument even more absurd.

You engaged a man over alcoholic drinks in the bar of a hotel and then you freaked out whenever he followed you out.

And I'm guessing there was a serious transition from you sitting and drinking at the table with him and then him "suddenly" being on your floor "following" you.

I would love to see this as a movie scene because I think you edited out the part between sitting at the table getting drunk with a married man and him suddenly being behind you while you're on your floor.
