My husband couldn’t fix our shower and asked me to call a plumber. I fixed it myself.

Maybe you have an eye for such things but never attempted to do so because of the gender stereotype where men should do all the trade work around and out of the house which is bullocks.

Seen female trade workers that are way more skilled than most men and what sucks especially in the construction industry is they just get shat on by men with sexist remarks onsite, they either stand strong in the face of adversity or quit from the social pressure, Not all men are mean to them but I would have to say a majority are (I used to work in the construction industry so I have seen it first hand)

Either way, good for you and I'm happy you attempted it and succeeded (Just take caution with electrical problems, one wrong move can end your life)
