My sister got married and pregnant at the age of 18 and I'm honestly very jealous of her life

Honestly I don't believe in this mindset of "you have to earn things by yourself and work to be your own person" Her life doesn't revolve around the husband and kids. She has goals to accomplish. In two years both kids will go to school and have most of the day for herself.

She has the same goals that everyone else our ages. The difference is that she already accomplished a few of them without even trying. Like traveling and having a nice house. And now she's focusing on herself. Both professionally (getting a university degree and learning languages) and personal goals. That I'm not explaining for obvious reasons.

It's not like she's going to spend the next 18 years taking care of kids 24/7. And it's not like she's going to depend on his husband forever.

I guess that's a cultural difference? I don't believe I have to work hard or whatever to know myself. And I can still grown as a person with a life that's already solved.
