My wife passed away on this day 7 years ago. She also started WoW on that day. I still log in sometimes to see where she left it.

I️ know this isn’t going to be seen ever because it’s at the bottom of an old post and I️ only found this because of the recent post in r/wow that hit the front page, but after looking at this post and then the comments it made me think of my own friend I️ lived with for a year and was friends with for 6-7 years beginning in college that passed away three months ago. We started being friends when we pledged(joined) the same fraternity. Me and him would start off every Saturday morning together hungover and at a hookah shop in town, we also played a shitload of geometry wars 2 together. If you’ve ever played it you know there are 6 game modes you can play, we were both pretty good and also competitive. I️ recently found that this game was backwards compatible on my Xbox one. I️ loaded it up and found that he has the high score for three modes and I have the high score for the other three. I️ couldn’t bring myself to play it. I️ kept thinking of that reddit post where the kid was playing the racing game against his dad’s ghost. I’m not about to play this game and beat one of his high scores. We shall forever be tied 3-3. Also been drinking so forgive me if this is too much
