Nancy Pelosi won't allow White House officials access to the House floor for State of the Union 'walkthrough'

I'm not saying he should resign from his Senate seat. I just don't want leadership on either side to have a history of being wrong on fundamental human dignity issues like gay marriage.

He might have redeemed his soul in the grand scheme of things, but we flawed humans are spiteful sonsabitches, and I'm not ready to support a party that raises someone like him to the top.

Ideally both party's leadership will recognize basic human dignity, but for now, I'd rather purge the "liberal" party's leadership those that missed easy fucking layups.

I don't know what its like to be gay, but I do have several gay/trans friends and family. I'd rather not have someone in charge that would let the world discriminate against them if it were politically salient.

Cause that's Hillary, Obama's, and Schumer's problem... they claim they made a mistake only after gay dignity became politically salient.
