need help understanding this

I'm not pro nor anti "life", both sides have some reasonable and not-at-all reasonable views, and because I'm a man and can't get pregnant anyway I generally don't even take part in the conversation. I'll let women and politicians duke this one out.

That said, this thought bubble here that a baby is practically the same things as a kidney, and an abortion is practically the same thing as an organ transplant, is the dumbest thing I've read in all of 2018, and maybe 2017.

A kidney is an organ. People can't live without at least one. A baby is a human, with its own kidneys incidentally. Women (and men) do not require babies to stay alive. Babies and kidneys serve entirely different purposes within a shared body. A kidney serves to sift waste from one's body, so one doesn't die. A baby serves to grow for 9 months and then leave the body to become its own person with a kidney. When an abortion happens a new baby isn't transplanted. The original baby is thrown in the trash and that's it, that's all the babies. Babies and kidneys could not be less similar. Your comment is so dumb I'm kind of impressed.
