New hack can steal your Mac's passwords

This is the main reason I do not rip on Apple devices. I dislike Apple and, by extension, its devices. But I do not use them, so I do not know enough to complain about them. So I just stick to criticizing Apple as a company.

They lost me years ago with their extremely deceptive "I'm a Mac, and I'm a PC" commercials, essentially capitalizing on people's ignorance to convince them of shit that just wasn't true. That went beyond immature into the realm of manipulative/evil, and that impression only intensified as I continued to observe over the years. When they sue others for using basic ideas they "invented", people are stealing from them, but when they are sued for using complex ideas invented by others, that's just trolling. Another example that really pissed me off was when they banned an official Southpark app which let you watch episodes, ostensibly for being offensive. Meanwhile, they had no problem taking their standard cut from individual episode sales. I swore a long time ago I'd never reward their greedy, sociopathic behavior with so much as a dollar of my money.

But I have no complaints about their devices because I know very little about them. For all I know, they're the cream of the crop.
