New job, everyone hates me... Some help?

Its very personal attacks. I guess that's why I'm so puzzled by it. I truly have done nothing but try to be nice and kind with them. They make things up on me, just complete lies and then call and report me for anything and everything.
This week....
1. I was reported for "texting" my husband excessively, so the next shift, I left my phone in the car and I worked the entire time I was there. Then I was trying to make them look bad.
2. I suggested a cookout for ones that would be excluded from a trip. Nothing big, just hamburgers and hot dogs. I was talked mean to for suggesting something that went against their "Low Sodium Diets", then that exact day they were served 2 corn dogs by the person who thought hot dogs were evil. I might be crazy, but the wiener has the sodium and that is in a corn dog as well.
3. A clients birthday is coming up and I suggested having a cake and a pizza party. Apparently cake is as bad as hot dogs. Even after I pointed out that we could buy a "sugar-free" cake, I was told they don't make them. I'm standing there like "Really?"

I could go on and on... But it honestly feels a lot more personal that professional. They do respect my mother in law, but only because she has the power to fire them. I don't want to run and tattle for every smart remark but I'm tired of being disrespected. I earned this responsibility and they act like it was handed to me because of her. I worked for her at this very same agency for years before she was ever my mother in law. That's how I met her son. I've tried to just work through it and show them that I'm there to help in any way that I can... that only makes them hate me more.
