No Ho Ho! Deliveroo fire hundreds of couriers days before Christmas!

Yeah it's kind of ridiculous how they haven't bothered to come up with some sort of verification system. It used to be that you could just mark all the items as not delivered and if it was under £40 they'd give you the full price of the order back. Apparently just compensating customers was cheaper than designing some sort of verification system.

Everyo e started doing this and at some point this year they started following up by sending an email asking for details. But apparently you just need to write a convincing enough message that the food didn't arrive or most of the requested food wasn't there and they'll refund you.

The weird thing is that delivery companies already have a way of dealing with this - asking for a signature when delivering. Surely the rider accounts can have that functionality added to their apps?
