As someone who is 20-something years older than you, I will say this - it's good to be doing things you're passionate about, but don't get so caught up in the doing that you lose sight of the 'being'. This almost seems like a cliche, but some people get so absorbed in setting/achieving goals and what not that they live their entire lives in the future, never paying much attention to what is directly in front of them.

If you have this idea in your head that 'if I could just get xyz thing or have xyz girl/boy, then I'll have it made.' Trust me... you'll never get there. And even if you do, there'll always be the thought in the back of your mind that you could lose it.
