Non Canadians. What would you like to ask one of us?

Well, on Canada's west coast, in the province of British Columbia, there are some micro-climates in which you can grow Palm Trees.

Yup: palm trees!

Here is one picture in WINTER, in Vancouver!

Just google "palm trees canada" for more examples.

On the other hand, Montreal (on the east-coast) is very much like Moscow in the winter, and Miami in the summer! As such, the city actually has 2 personalities (winter-Montreal, and summer-Montreal).

But the spring, summers, and fall can be really beautiful, with lots of festivals, to help make up for those few cold winter months.

And the change of seasons adds a great variety to life, that you just don't get in tropical climates.

Speaking of tropical climates, many people do not know this but the world's second largest Caribbean-culture festival is in... Toronto, Canada, each summer!

Toronto has a large and vibrant Caribbean culture from recent immigration.
