Duck lips and her friends decide to make their way downtown to attend a free outdoor concert sponsored by their cities local radio station. The sun is shining and the temperature is warm and comfortable - truly the perfect day to spend outside with friends. Duck lips is informed by her girlfriend Jennifer that Josh might be downtown today as well! Oh how great would it be if today is finally the day he asks her out on a date!? Duck lips and her entourage arrive downtown shortly after noon. The concert isn't scheduled to begin for another hour and a half but the sidewalks are already bustling with people anticipating today's event. Because of the large crowd already present, the girl struggle trying to find an available parking spot. The closest one they could find was outside of the public library nearly a mile away from the concerts location. It would be a bit of a hike but duck lips didn't mind. The girls lock the car and begin their journey. Half way there they run into Josh. Oh how handsome he is. Duck lips throws her arms around him and makes no attempt at hiding her excitement that he was there. Together they walk the rest of the way. Upon arrival, duck lips suggests that the group gather together for a quick photo. She pulls out her phone with it's new case that imitated a gun and snapped a photo. A police officer who was on the scene for crowd control noticed duck lips' phone and rightfully mistook it for an actual gun. He raised his handgun and pointed in duck lips' direction, shouting the order to "drop your weapon!" Duck lips, confused by the officer's reaction and not immediately comprehending why he was pointing his gun at her extended her arms slightly and shrugged her shoulders in confusion. Her movements alarmed the officer and not wanting to take any chances, he squeezed off two rounds; one hitting duck lips in the right shoulder and the second hitting her square in the belly. It all happened in a matter of a few seconds but the result would be forever. Duck lips died in a hospital bed two hours later... and all because of her phone case.
