On the first day of the second quarter, we will roll out Google Flame which is our dating and matchmaking engine that will extend and integrate with Google+. As this post suggests, Google Flame will use your search and browsing history to build a public dating profile. To make sure we find you, our users, excellent matches not only will we compare your interests with others in our system but we will also message everyone in your Circles to see if they know anyone who would be a good match as well. To help aid in evaluating the quality of matches suggested by friends and aquantances, we have a rating system. You can earn badges for enough successful matches. In our trial Chris Hansen has had the highest matchmaking rating thus far, maybe consider adding him to your circle?

We have worked quite extensively with the Google+ team and have worke hard on how we can make both products better. First, people rarely update their relationship status. We realized we could do this for you, so based on your Google Chat conversations, emals, search history and browsing habit tracking through AdSense and AdWords we now update your relationship status as well. With Facebooks recent inclusion of more genders than just Male & Female to include sexual preferance, we have followed suit. Unfortunately most people aren't very good at keeping the various terms straight and again this is an area where we can really help. Baseed on search history we will update your public profile with precise gender identification and sexual preferences. Our system is isn't hardcoded like that of Facebook, ours grows and adds new terms as the system discerns a need. For example just this last week it added bestialitas, whatever that is.
