obesity and anorexia

You do understand but not in the sense you think. Basically it’s the same idea you just stated. You look in the mirror and see you’ve gained pounds and go “oh I have to cut back” it’s the same thing for anorexia. Someone with anorexia looks in the mirror and sees their body, finds any imperfection (larger thighs, arms, etc) and goes “oh I have to cut back”. So they do. They keep cutting back more and more though. It becomes an addiction. You keep trying to perfect your body. “Oh my hip bones aren’t as visible, cut back” “oh my collar bone isn’t as prominent cut back” literally anything and everything will make you think “cut back” You can’t stop and you won’t stop. You need to be thinner. You don’t see yourself getting thinner you just see the fat that’s left to loose.
