[Official] Rhian Brewster completes move to Sheffield United

I posted this earlier but will say it again here. Yes, it's an incredible deal, but not absolute robbery like others have suggested.

While I won't deny that clubs have paid a premium for liverpool players, I think a lot of people here don't consider something in particular: experience and education.

Players coming from Liverpool have been raised and influenced from Klopp's vision, philosophy, and just general strategy. They almost always have a good head on their shoulers, and the right attitude to succeed (even if they don't always actually succeed). For example, Solanke had a great attitude and did all the right things, but just couldnt score (and still doesnt really score). But clubs feel those qualities were worth paying money for.

Now not all of them have been fully "raised" by Klopp. Players like Ings just had a couple of years with him before leaving. But still, having a season or two under Klopp is valuable experience to have. It's a good education. And the hope is that these players bring that experience to other clubs.

Think of it like a regular job. Imagine someone graduated from a top university, or perhaps they spent a couple of years with one of the top employers in the industry. Let's say they were an engineer for Google or Apple.

Those kinds of people get their opportunities because they have valuable experiences and education under their belt. That's something any employer values, and football clubs are no different.

Sometimes it can work the other way around though: a team like burnley probably wouldn't want a player like Minamino, in the same way a car company isn't looking for a person with a PHD in Literature from Oxford.
