Older couples who have raised children to adulthood, how was it? Do you regret your decision to have kids?

Awful. My son works in fast food at 22 which is ok, but he's already accepted that that is all he will accomplish in life and doesn't want to do more. His co-workers make fun of him every day. He wears the exact same clothes every day, which I'm not even sure if he washes. He talks to a "pet snail" far too often for it not to be weird. His only friend is mentally retarded and I'm very glad that he's friends with someone like that, but it means that they always end up doing stupid shit together. He keeps failing his drivers test and will probably never leave our home town, which I wish he would because there's bigger and better opportunities out there. And on top of all that, the worst part is that he lives in a pineapple under the sea.
