Opening doors on passing motorcyclists?!

If someone did that to me, I'd follow their car with a lighter and tie. You should consider getting a GoPro or something mounted to your helmet to catch these people, and also it will act as a method of deterrence.

The craziest thing that has happened to me on the road was in a car. I was driving back from University and a tradie (tradesman) who was driving way over the 70km/h speed limit and his friend drove right up my ass. I proceeded to get out of the way and returned the favour, fighting fire with fire. Whilst I thought I would just piss the guy off with a taste of his own medicine, his passenger started opening and closing his doors (to make some verbal point) and began hurling items towards me. This is where I simply decided to get out of there, driving very fast and pretty much began lane splitting between cars on a two-laned road. I got about ten cars ahead of him and felt safe to sit at the lights instead of turning ... until most of those cars turned and bridged the distance between us. He decided to get out of his car and hurl an object at my car, smashing the back window in the midst of ~50 cars sitting at the lights. The police did nothing and I paid for the damage out of my own pocket.

I spent probably around 20 hours trying to link their registration somehow to their address after realising they were going to get away scot-free to go and confront the person. I have the registration permanently ingrained in my memory and if I see it on the road, he won't see me coming. This is my crazy story. One week later I was crashed into by a guy on drugs who denied everything, and I wasn't even going to get an insurance payout until I finally tracked down the guy through the same registration method aforementioned earlier, leading me to his residency; a drug rehabilitation centre.
