Original Pokémon Soundtrack Issued on Limited Edition Pokéball Vinyl

My posts from another thread:

n o b o d y should support this garbage. Support the labels who are working their asses off to actually bring you legitimate soundtracks on wax. Video game music is THE hardest thing to officially release so give your money to those who earned it. These releases are terrible in every single way.

I've been able to see and handle a few of these. I was not impressed. The quality of the mastering was poor, the printing quality was poor, the quality of the jackets themself were poor. And of course the design choices often equate these to a personal art project, but that is an aesthetic issue, some like it and some don't. The discs and packaging themselves though are pretty much exactly what I would expect from a bootlegger.

He makes a big deal about how he masters all his audio from the game data so they should sound as best as possible, and then he goes and cuts this from the shitty 1997 Pikachu Records release. He has no respect for the people he'd like to call his customers, he has you all for suckers and I only hope people wise up to his shit soon. He actually gives bootleggers a bad name. The bootlegger used to be a folk hero. The Yellow Dog. The Swingin Pig. Bringing the fans what they want. Sean Daigle is just a guy who wants to reach into all of your pockets to help pay off that useless art degree.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS

This guy goes by the name Moonshake and UnfortunateFace. He is a known bootlegger and has plenty of releases under his belt, all of copyrighted material. He is making money off someone else's hard work. His Shop: [Removed] His Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/UnfortunateFace/ His Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/UnfortunateFace Report him to Nintendo here: https://ap.nintendo.com/report/ Report him to the RIAA here: https://www.riaa.com/report-piracy/

For what it's worth, Sean Daigle also floats around on Reddit by the name of /u/AnneFrankZappa (pretty offensive username, no?) He had the audacity to show up in another thread under the radar only to simply tell me I am a liar, but did not refute any accusations or engage in conversation with anyone else in the thread.

I understand that there is a demand for this type of product, and I understand that many of you are worried something similar may never officially see the light of day. I just hope that you understand that people are working very hard to bring this and other soundtracks to you by going through the proper legal channels, and I also hope that you understand exactly what you would be supporting by purchasing this illegal and illegitimate product. In my opinion, he has shown little respect or reverence for the content owners or the artists who originally created these works, and again, we want to buy these works because we love them.
