Our freedom scares us because it is our greatest responsibility. Once we are free, it's all up to us.

I know how science works. you do too (which is why I'm not sure you don't understand the point about subjectivity, as if you imagined every scientist to have the exact same thoughts, with zero deviation, as if they were calculators).

of course its "to reduce subjectivity"!!

of course its to "reduce misrepresentation"!!

but the way it proceeds after each new discovery is to speculate (key word here--to speculate is to imagine, to imagine to use go beyond formal rules, to go beyond formal rules means to break out of calculator status....and VOILA!!! SUBJECTIVITY!!!) and find out more, and that part is creating ideas on how to make better experiments, which can't proceed from what we know, because they are specifically trying to find out what we don't yet know!!!! some of those ideas don't work. you know this. (this is the "refinement" you referred to.)

you know that to "prove" determinism (which as you've pointed out is still "being work on"), we will need more than one single mind on it (which means subjectivity and different perspectives), because not every experiment and idea to "prove" it (scientific determinism) will be true (some will fail, as you know as well). those are the alternate takes dude!! and then they become standard when "proven" (when they don't fail), and the whole thing repeats.
